Last month we took a trip to a conference in North Carolina with over 80 college students and young professionals, and USA Bus Charter bailed us out when we were in a pinch. We had originally worked with another popular charter bus company to arrange for two buses to carry our group on a weekend trip. I can't begin to thank you enough for the "fix" you pulled Durham out of at the end of October 2006. A problem create by not one but two other charter companies. We are the transportation contractor who provides service to the Amarillo Independent School District. AISD had two charter buses with XXXXXXX but they cancelled on them last minute. I began to scramble around and finally called XXXXXXXXXXXXX who said they could help us. I called them at 8:00am they said they had buses and could do the charters. I wanted to take a minute to thank you for everything you did to make our trip a complete success. We had saved for this trip for 2 years, and the girls, being so young, hated doing that. Kids these days want to spend their money as soon as they have it - so waiting so long was really hard for them. The day we had in Boston on Friday made them realize that there are things worth waiting for. Sonny was our driver, and he was wonderful. He counted heads quicker than I did every time we boarded, and I told him he'd make a great Girl Scout Leader, LOL... After my worrying about the behavior of a bus full of pre-teen girls, I shouldn't have - they were wonderful, and I'm glad to know that Sonny has had much worse on his bus before ;) ... I think he might have enjoyed himself, too!! We handed him a stack of 20+ thank you notes, and he laughed when he saw them and said he'd have some reading to do later. He was better-than-prompt - he anticipated everything we were going to be doing, and was always there, ready to whisk us off to our next activity. The girls were especially excited to see Sonny driving into the Museum of Science at the same time our Duck Tour was pulling back into the same parking lot. We quacked, and he honked, and we all had a good laugh. His sense of humor made our rides more enjoyable. The bus was perfect. The purple color cracked me up - it is our town/team color - and the girls were so excited when they saw the color alone. Miss Suzy, how did you get a purple bus?, LOL.... When they stepped inside, they were thrilled, as we had told them that they would have to save another year for a limo bus like that. Our thanks to Bobby at AA Allstars for being so flexible with the price - I hope it did not set him back, and that he understands what a big, big deal it was for us. The girls will never forget that trip - and the experience of spending a day in a bus like that made it all the more special. Girls were dragging their parents on the bus at 10:30 at night to show them what they had been in all day. His generosity meant so much to all of us. Lacy, you were awesome - from start-to-finish, and none of this could have ever happened without your help and commitment. So many companies, big and small, passed us by, some without a reply at all. You made a huge company feel like one good friend helping to plan a special trip. Your phone calls and emails were the fastest and most thorough I experienced amongst all the people I planned with over the past month. It was your hard work that made this happen, and for that, we are extremely grateful. You helped to make our two-year wait worthwhile, and our memories will last a lifetime after such a special day. I wanted to take a moment and let you know what exceptional customer service Carolina provided our group in the process of renting a charter bus. From the beginning, Carolina was very prompt and informative in all of our email correspondence. On my initial request for information I put the date of travel as 11/10/12, but mistakenly completed the information form for 12/1/12. Without realizing it, I proceeded to complete the contract and thought our group was set to go this Saturday, 11/10/12. I emailed Carolina yesterday just to confirm as our group is a simple high school booster club and we do not do this kind of travel often. Carolina worked all day yesterday finding us another bus and amending the contract. She could have easily told me I was stuck and to find a solution to the problem myself. I know your company deals with charter contracts all the time, but it is certainly new to me and as I went about my work day yesterday there was no way I could have started calling other companies. I am sure you often hear the negative situations from customers, but I wanted to send a positive one your way. Our group attends this cross country meet every year.
